Deep red rounds of rubies are complemented by polished gold vermeil spheres in these stud earrings.  They feature a 'stardust' textured sterling silver ear stud fitting, making them very comfortable to wear.

The rubies are cut in a smooth, polished round bead shape so you may not have seen them in this guise before.  They are so different from the usual facet cut rubies - they may not sparkle but they have a deep richness to them that you often can't get with a faceted gemstone. 

The vermeil spheres are sterling silver covered with precious buttery gold and give the perfect accent to the rubies.
