If, however, you are unhappy with any aspect of my service or jewellery, or if you change your mind, please read my terms, set out below:

I am only posting to UK addresses at the moment.
Shipping costs to countries outside of the UK (when available) will be charged to you at cost and you will receive a separate Paypal invoice for this charge which is to be paid prior to shipping. Please contact me if you wish to know the cost in advance.
Delivery Times
My aim is to despatch to you within 3 working days of purchase.
If you need an order by a specific date then please contact me and I will try my best to accommodate you.
PLEASE NOTE: I can not be held responsible for any delay in receipt of your jewellery once I have posted it. Please make sure you order in plenty of time especially during holiday periods.
I take special care to ensure that your jewellery reaches you safely, and in a timely manner. I really want you to have your jewellery as soon as possible so please ensure that the delivery details you provide with your order are accurate as I cannot be held responsible for non-delivery of orders when incorrect address details have been provided. Orders will be sent to the address provided on the order and refunds will not be given if the address provided is incorrect.
Bespoke items -
I am unable to take bespoke/custom orders at the moment.
I will give you an estimated delivery time for bespoke orders once the final design has been agreed.
Please contact me if you require more information or have any other queries.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order then please contact me as soon as possible and before the item is dispatched. If it is not a custom order then a full refund will be issued, if it is a custom order that work has already been started on then a partial refund will be processed. If the order has already been dispatched then a refund will be issued when the piece has been returned in accordance with the details below and in the Jewellery by Linda returns policy.
If you change your mind
I offer a 30 day money back guarantee from the day you receive your jewellery. See below for exceptions.
Contact me in writing or by email within 14 days of receipt of your jewellery if you change your mind. You must download and complete the cancellation/returns form (click here for the form), and send it to me by mail or email within 14 days of receipt of your jewellery. I will then send you an email agreeing the return. I will issue you a refund of the cost of the order within 14 days of agreeing the return in writing, or by email.
Please see ‘Exceptions’ below.
If your jewellery is faulty/damaged
I package your jewellery personally and take the utmost care to ensure that it leaves me in tip top condition. If the jewellery is damaged in transit please contact me within 3 working days of receipt by you, in writing or by email.
I will offer, by email, either a full refund, exchange or repair. I will consider these instances on a case by case basis. In the case of damaged or faulty goods I will refund you the cost of your return postage once I receive the returned item.
If the order is for Bespoke/Custom Jewellery
I am unable to take orders for bespoke jewellery at this time.
For orders of bespoke/custom jewellery please contact me to discuss your requirements and agree details. Bespoke/custom jewellery is subject to a deposit the amount of which will be agreed during our initial conversation or shortly thereafter, and which will be non-refundable. Payment of the balance will be required prior to me shipping your jewellery.
Where full payment for bespoke/custom items is not received within 5 working days of sending you confirmation that the jewellery is ready for despatch, I will be entitled to assume that the order is cancelled. In such case, I will retain the deposit to cover my costs, including materials. Where non-payment of the full amount is due to particular circumstances then, wholly at my discretion, I may keep the item until such time as you are ready to finalise payment.
For bespoke/custom orders you will be able to cancel your order, by emailing me, up to the point when the deposit is paid; once the deposit is paid and I have confirmed receipt of the deposit we will be in agreement that I have begun the design/creation process. If you do decide to cancel after I have begun the design/creation process then the initial deposit is non-refundable. For bespoke/custom orders which have been completed, no refund will be given as these are not a re-saleable item.
When a refund is agreed
I will send you a refund within 14 days of my receipt of the cancellation/returns form from you, provided that I receive the goods back within that time.
All I request is that you take reasonable care of the jewellery until it is returned to me.
Any goods must be returned to me securely wrapped, in the original packaging including the gift box, satin pouch, etc.
I recommend returning goods by Royal Mail special delivery as any damages or losses incurred during return may mean I am unable to refund you. As a minimum I recommend that signed for postage with suitable insurance cover be used.
You will be responsible for the cost of returning the jewellery to me.
Any orders which are not collected from the post office or sorting office and are subsequently returned to sender will only be refunded once received back. This is known as a forced return and as such, postage costs will not be refunded.
The refund will be to the source originally used to pay.
If you receive a Free Gift
In the event that an order is cancelled - if you receive a free gift when purchasing an item, the free gift must also be returned along with the item purchased.
Exceptions
With regret, for hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned/refunded, unless faulty. Please take care to check details of sizes, etc. given on the website before you place your order.
I regret that custom/bespoke goods (where jewellery is made to order to a design agreed between you and I) cannot be returned or refunded, unless faulty.
For any items judged to be damaged due to improper use or when reasonable care has not been taken by you, I reserve the right to seek recompense from you for damages. This does not affect your right to a full refund.
As silver naturally tarnishes over time and this can be accelerated when exposed to chemicals, cosmetics etc. jewellery is not classed as faulty if tarnished.

Products
I am passionate about bringing you quality jewellery which you can treasure. Jewellery you purchase from Jewellery by Linda is, where specified, hallmarked by the Sheffield Assay Office, whatever the weight of silver I have used. In the case of earrings, one of a pair is hallmarked.
Precious and semi-precious gemstones and cultured pearls are used to create the jewellery – all sourced from reputable suppliers.
Fine silver and sterling silver jewellery handmade by me may include pre-made components such as chains, charms or clasps and similar. I always use fine silver and sterling silver components sourced from reputable UK suppliers.
Product Descriptions & Photographs
I have taken great care to show as accurately as possible the colours of the jewellery and gemstones in the photographs. You may notice slight colour variations when you see the piece at home - the colour will vary depending on the settings of the monitor you use.
The photographs are taken 'close up' to show the detail and quality of each piece of jewellery. Please ensure that you check the sizes given for each item in the product description for a correct interpretation of the scale.
For unique pieces the photographed item is the item you will receive. For limited edition and other pieces the photograph shown on the product page is to show the design you will receive.
Please contact me if you require more information or have any other queries.

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
7. How to Contact Me
For purposes of EU data protection law, I, Linda Bonnington, am the data controller of your personal information. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at linda@jewellerybylinda.co.uk
